Family Connection Services was founded to provide high-quality supervised and supported family time for children, young people and their families. We work closely with professionals, referring agencies, and families to ensure every arrangement is safe, child-centred, and purposeful.
We are registered with the relevant regulatory bodies and carry full insurance. All practitioners hold enhanced DBS clearance and relevant qualifications in child and family work.
The wellbeing, safety, and voice of the child is at the heart of everything we do. We listen, observe, and adapt.
We maintain the highest levels of professional confidentiality and work sensitively with all parties.
No two families are the same. Every package is tailored to specific circumstances, needs, and goals.

What we offer
We offer a range of supervised and supported family time options, designed to meet the needs of professionals and families alike.
Supported family time at neutral community venues — parks, cafés, soft play, and other appropriate settings. Facilitated by an experienced practitioner who will manage, observe, and report on the visit.
In-personWhere assessed as appropriate, we provide supervised or supported family time within the family home. Our practitioners create a warm, structured environment that supports positive interactions.
In-personFacilitated virtual family time for families where in-person visits are not possible or appropriate. We manage the session fully — setup, supervision, safeguarding, and written recording.
RemoteProfessional family time observation reports suitable for court proceedings, LAC reviews, and professional meetings. Compiled to a high standard with factual detail and analysis.
DocumentationSafe, managed transitions between households — reducing conflict and ensuring the child's experience remains calm and positive throughout.
In-personOnline reflective discussion and detailed feedback to parents and carers, supporting improvements in family time sessions and overall family dynamics. A dedicated, confidential space to explore progress and plan next steps.
OnlineOnline workshops to support connection through indirect family time, helping parents and carers create child-appropriate, emotionally safe letters and cards. Guided support to express care and nurture bonds in a meaningful way.
OnlineAll referrals are subject to a non-refundable referral fee of £250. As each family's needs are unique, pricing is tailored to your specific requirements — please get in touch for further details and a personalised quote.
How it works
We keep things simple and responsive, while never compromising on quality or safeguarding.
Submit a referral using the form below. We aim to respond within 72 hours.
We speak with the referrer and, where appropriate, the family to understand needs and agree a plan.
A clear written agreement is provided before any family time takes place, covering frequency, format, and fees.
We deliver the service, report regularly, and adapt as needs change throughout the arrangement.

Referrals
We use a detailed referral form to ensure we fully understand the needs of the child or young person and their family before any family time is arranged. This helps us provide the most appropriate, tailored service from the outset.
